Did Nepotism kill Sushant?

Designed by Komman Man

Let me start with "Nepotism". In retrospect, my Mom shared her vivid memior of a conversation with Mr.Lawrence Thilagar, the Spokesperson of LTTE, two decades back. Ok let me come to the point of this topic in connection with Bollywood film industry.
All over the World Nepotism is a common thing; nowadays this feeling plays an inevitable role in every walk of life.
The unexpected death of Sushant Singh Rajput brought out cries of the suppressed minds of Bollywood. Why I called this as death? Till now it is not clear whether his death is a suicide or a homicide. We will leave aside about the homicide to the investigation of Mumbai Police Department. If his death is a suicide, many Bollywood stars have given their reasons and opinions along with their personal experience; and one amoung the strong reason is- Nepotism.
Our world grows more and more commercial and selfish. Especially, in the Film industry throughout India, nepotistic origin is very huge and exhibited. Nowadays, our Indian Cinema goes back "who's son/daughter you're?" Even, if one has no commitment or passion in any department of the cinema world, if the background of the son/daughter is a famous actor (or) director (or) producer, they would receive the red carpet reception. We can quote many examples, where as if a person is a self-made one, and though he/she climbes up the ladder of their profession, he/she could not reach the apex position. This is what happened to Sushant and had to end his life. No cinema background in the family or any power backup, his talents and dedication alone made him to leap up in his career.
Nepotism dominates in Politics and Film industry in India largely. Take "K" family, fourth or fifth generation people are emerging in the film industry in the brand of "K". But do the latest arrivals from "K" family give us the quality of their talents comparing to their fore fathers? It is doubtful, because the media either newspaper (or) T.V channels give due respect to their family brand "K". The self-made people couldn't bring their offsprings in the limelight. Take "SRK"as he is a self-made person, and admired by half of the population of the entire world. But who knows about his children except a few?; because he has no power or the media support.
Media is ready to make a lot of money by showing "SRK", but not ready to support his kin/kith in the limelight. So, Power, Money and Fame are playing key roles to reach a top notch position in the film industry. Power plays more than money. Even though, the self-made men are rolling with multi-millions (or) billions if there is no power, there is no future. Even if they're crowded with millions of people around them and their fame is growing day by day if there is no power, there is no life to them. The quality of nepotism is grabbing one's opportunities; it will swipe you away from your field; it even will demand to give up your life. This is what happened in Sushant life. Atlast, alas, Nepotism killed Sushant!
